PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

The PVS sheets we use for our products meet the ROHS requirements (directive 2002/95/EC) and are free from:

  • Lead (Pb)

  • Mercury (Hg)

  • Hexavalent Chromium (CRVI)

  • Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB)

Research indicates that PVC is the fourth most common plastic recycled in New Zealand. We work in conjunction with recycling plants, and our waste and reject material is sent directly there to be converted to other products such as flooring, cable, mudflaps and mats.

Cardboard

All the cardboard used in the manufacture of our ringbinders is imported and is made from 100% recycled material. A certificate confirming this is available.

Polypropylene

The plastics identification code for polypropylene is 5. This is also recycled and converted by many recycle stations around New Zealand into pegs, bins, pipes, pallet sheets and trays. The polypropylene we source is certified carbon neutral. There is a range of 50% and 100% recycled polypropylene which is readily available.

Recycling

We will glad accept back any of our products at the end of their lives for recycling
